Case study: Edukon
The objective was to develop a name and visual identity for a client specializing in professional educational courses and conference hosting. The brand needed to be rooted in its local heritage - Nitra, Slovakia - while maintaining a modern, scalable aesthetic that would not limit future business expansion.

Brand Naming & Strategy
The name Edukon was engineered as a functional portmanteau:
- "Edu" (from Education): Directly referencing the core business of organizing specialized training and courses.
- "Kon" (from Connection and Conference/Congress): Highlighting the brand's role as a facilitator for networking and professional gatherings.
The resulting name is descriptive enough to establish instant industry relevance, yet abstract enough to allow the brand to evolve beyond its initial scope.

Visual Identity: The Architectural Motif
The visual core of Edukon is an homage to the genius loci of Old Town Nitra. We translated the iconic geometry of historic European windows and the specific masonry of the district into a minimalist graphic shorthand.
- The Logotype: We utilized clean, high-legibility typography designed for clarity across all scales. The descriptor "Conference Rooms Nitra" is integrated as a secondary element for large-scale applications to ground the brand in its specific location.
- A Versatile Symbol: The window icon is seamlessly integrated into the logo, yet designed to function as a powerful standalone mark. This allows for cohesive branding across social media, digital favicons, and secondary touchpoints.
- Pattern Design: By repeating the geometric window element, we created a sophisticated architectural pattern. This "visual rhythm" echoes the facade of a building and is applied across physical environments - from custom wallpapers and curtains to roll-up backgrounds for televised press conferences.
The Result
By abstracting historical reality into a modern visual shorthand, we delivered an identity that is both elegant and authoritative. The Edukon brand now possesses a timeless aesthetic that honors the past while looking firmly toward the future of professional education.
